Geneva Motor Show, one of the most important of its kind in Europe and the world, took place on 5-15 March. In its 85th anniversary, the show presented 130 new models and concepts to over 700 thousand visitors. In the show, 220 brands took part with 900 models, widely ranging from astronomically priced coupés to fuel pincher SUV’s, small sized urban
vehicles to driverless models…The most outstanding automobile in the show was certainly the innovative concept of Rinspeed.The Swiss brand introduced its driverless concept car Budii, equipped with all the benefits of high technology. The futuristic model Budii’s doors are opened by fingerprints, and its telescopic camera
enables an utterly secure driverless ride! Working in full harmony with smart phones and other equipments, Rinspeed Budii’s steering wheel can be relocated on the desired side.
